Good Choices on Laminate Products

I’ve become an enthusiastic proponent of laminate products. They have a place in the market where hardwood and carpet is not is a realistic choice. Last month my clients budgeted to make appropriate and reasonable changes in their home to be sold. I volunteered to help in the updating process. Luckily, my clients had a competent contractor so, we examined the home and determined a new wall-to-wall carpet in the living room was needed and the kitchen, powder room and utility room floors were all of different patterns (on the main floor). I suggested the entire main floor be covered with a laminate instead of multi surfaces and sought a lighter colored choice unlike most of the laminates I have seen. With the help of their contractor, I discovered a wonderful brand-Shaw Laminates. They had several books of different wood styles and the choices were much more what I had in my mind’s eye. I found at least two that I liked very much and decided on a selection to complement the new paint throughout. The end result was gratifying. The home now  looks more expansive and attractive with easy to care for flooring that will serve professionals or a busy family with children.
